Craig J. McGowan, CPM Officer

Craig J. McGowan is the CEO of Mercantile Property Management and has over 40 years of experience in the property management field. He has a wide array of knowledge in all aspects of property management including condominiums, office buildings, apartments and retail centers. Craig is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Community Association Institute (CAI). His certifications include: Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Massachusetts Real Estate Broker’s license. During his many years in the business, Craig has helped his clients implement millions of dollars in capital improvement projects and insurance loss repairs. He has developed a large network of proven professionals to help service his clients.  Craig works with his managers and staff to ensure our clients receive the best possible oversight of their property and to maximize cost efficiency to save them money.

Ryan J. McGowan, CMCA   President

Ryan J. McGowan joined the Mercantile team in 2008 and was promoted to President in January 2019. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business, Ryan focused his studies in Resource Economics concentrating in Business Management. After joining Mercantile Property Management in 2008, Ryan has overseen the success of over $10 Million in Capital Projects Renovations/Insurance Loss Restoration.

Ryan’s is a strong advocate of continuing education and training for all staff allowing for the most update to date guidance to our clients. Ryan is instrumental in preserving the company’s philosophy of providing “Personalize Service of the Highest Quality” by empowering staff to think outside the box and offering property specific approaches instead of globally.

Ryan has obtained his Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson’s license, and is an EPA Certified Renovator. He has earned his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation, and chaired the CAI-NE Managers’ Committee in 2016 & 2017.

Ryan’s strong belief is that “We are the Tylenol of the industry; we are here to assist you in times of headache and to make it go away”.

Kerry Augustine, PCAM, AMS, CMCA  Vice President

Kerry Augustine  has worked in various areas of the company since 1996 and offers a diverse expertise with our accounting/finance department, as well as property management experience. She has experience with the oversight of Capital and Insurance Loss Restoration Projects. Kerry heads up our satellite office in Hingham and coordinates the training of Portfolio Managers in the area of financial and administrative tasks. Kerry has achieved her Association Management Specialist (AMS), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations.
